Netherlands to Germany 9/6 /12

We left the Hague and had a look at the beach. Then we headed to Germany . The fields went from flower growing greenhouses to farming land and cows . The freeways were amazing we just kept changing lanes and roads. Some were 5 lanes in width . As we came into Germany the speed limit increased to 130km per hour . We had the largest cornetto ice reams in the first German town we found for EUR2.00 each. Lauren finally drove the car and it was weird on the right side of the road changing gears with the right hand indicators with the left hand and wipers with the right . Lost count of how many times the wipers started . At one stage we were doing 130kms and we were overtaken in the left lane ding 150 plus. We turned off at Duisburg to follow the Rhine river . This is an industrial town . We came across a sign and saw people strawberry picking so we turned around at picked 1kg strawberries for EUR 3.50 - yummy ! We kept going and stopped at Dusseldorf . Boys laughing McDonald's right next to our hotel . Duesseldorf is very late and has a major airport that services Europe . There are teams everywhere . We will check out the river and drive onwards to cologne (koln) and hopefully to Bonn for overnight stay !
