the town where we had dinner in the street. It was the night of the first game of football that Germany was playing
lots of camping areas and the grape vines to the river in both photos
We arrived in Koblenz in the late afternoon. If you dont watch where you are going in Germany , you could ride the motorways or autobahn everywhere. we have the GPS in the car on optimised route, but it tries for the motorways as well. So we follow the little yellow lines and we wound our way along the water and saw castles and lots of little towns and churches everywhere. You look for the next church steeple which meant the next town and there were lots of them. The Grape Vines start at the top of the mountainside and decend to the river below. The train runs along the rivers as well. We found a lovely hotel chain b&b - a bit like formula 1 but fits 4 in it and the boys were wrapt as they had bunks again.
We headed of to the fort the next day which included getting the cable car up to it.
Kieran and Tristan enjoyed looking at the view of Koblenz from the fort , looking at what was in the barges in the water and looking at the trains going along the river.(i have to down load more photos a bit later)
