Legoland Deutschland 13/14 June 2012

What a drive from rothemburg ob der tauber to near ulm and gunzburg . Legoland is right on the a8 motorway and you can see the flagpole in the distance as you head along . It's a lovely place . Kieran and Tristan were in heaven . Actually they took off and we chased them everywhere . Our first day was cold and raining on and off . We met a family from Houston Texas and the boys spent the day with their kids walking the park and Grahame and I enjoyed the parents company . So much so we swapped details . So we look forward to keeping in touch with jack Nathan holly and parents kim and Chris . We also had a lovely dinner out in gunzburg with everyone . How funny it is to organize to meet people you just met that day at a car park in a town that both families are not staying there . But we did !!! And we ended up in a pub eating pizzas pommes etc and Germany scored goals against the Netherlands and won ! . The Thursday we went back to legoland for day 2 and it was sunny cloudy Then came but really warm ! We caught up on the rides we missed yesterday and had more fun !!!!! So much so we finally arrived in friedrichschafen via ravensburg 8pm thursday night ! Kieran even managed to throw up in the car- perhaps it was the waffle with extra chocolate topping and extra cream plus snitznel and pommes in legoland before we left ?????
