Very excited day !!! Washing day ! Boys have headed to the airport here as there is a air museum and im doing the washing . Our stay here was lovely . We couldn't speak German and the hotel people couldn't speak English . Thank goodness for the translator on the phone . You type the message and press the German flag and it translates by written & spoken words .. So we had a great conversation about our holiday & Australia but very slowly ! Now waiting At the laundry place I met a lady who is a journalist with the local paper here . We had a lovely discussion on this town what our kids do she has two girls aged 13 & 10 and what she does here . She attends events and writes stories for the publisher . Her washing machine is broken and had it fixed yesterday and it broke again . I showed her photos of sydney in my phone and she said that she enjoyed talking to me so she could practice her English better ! Anyway cost for laundry here was washing inc powder eur4.50 and dryer was 2 times at 24 mins at rut 2.00 each . Not too bad price wise .... But did you know that they have sock monster washing machines as I have only one sock by itself again !!!! Also the zeppelin air balloon went past me at the laundry . The photo doesn't show how close it really was !
