Bad Reichenhall Germany/Austria border - Salzburg 20/21/22 June

We arrived In an awful storm from Munich and got shelter in a Burger king . Dinner was delicious according to Kieran and Tristan . Thank goodness for free Internet wifi . We found accommodation at Bad Reichenhall which is like Hepburn Springs in Victoria . Lots of hot springs in the area. The next day we went to Salzburg which was 15 ks away . We went to the Old Town and the fort We walked up and down the stairs saw medieval war arms staterooms and marionette puppets . We then walked to the new city over the river . It was really hot and dad tricked the boys to get wet in the fountain on the mall . We then went to an Austrian Brewery where we had a few beers lemonades and typical Austrian food for dinner . Cheese sausages mustard pickes various types of dips and breads . Tristan just had a huge bowl of pommes ( fries) and ketchup ! On Friday 22/6 the boys dropped me off to do laundry and they went to the springs to swim and I got to walk the streets awaiting for washing and found lovely shops got a dress ,handbag and walked back . They have muller shop here like target shops with a huge Priceline and clothes galore ! Also looks like the local trucks selling food came into the market square . Not bad for washing- 8 euros for 2 washing machines and 4 euros for dryer plus 1 euro powder ! We head to Innsbruck Austria now ! Thank goodness for McDonalds and wifi we hit bad afternoon storms again -must be the alps . We found accomodation at a ski resort near the town of Brenner. Infact the ski gondola is right at our door ! . Dinner is a pizza place in the town . Germany is playing tonight in the European Cup !!! This place is packed with people at 920pm for dinner !!! Going back to the car we came across a hens night in town . Kieran and Tristan didn't want their photos taken . Grahame Grabbed kieran !!!
