Dubrovnik to the island of Korcula 11/7

Well we left Dubrovnik after a wonderful brekky at a cafe near the port . We checked on times for Saturdays ferry to Bari Italy ! That's all booked but always best to check ! Bacon eggs toast fresh squeezed juice . Dad sonia Grahame Lauren and boys all happy !!! Then we drive to the ferry north of Dubrovnik near the Bosnian border to go to Korcula . The ferry leaves from the town called orebic. Just sitting here waiting for the ferry I see that the speedo now reads 7561 kms since we stared in Paris France ! Not bad for the start of the 6th week !!! Our ferry pulls in . It's a jadrolinia ferry called sveti kreaevan . The size of the car ferry we got from Germany to Switzerland across lake Constance . It cost us 124 kn or a$20 to get us and the car on the ferry ! We go upstairs and sit in the air-conditioned seating s d bar area . We got off just near the old town of Korcula then drove to Blato and into a small village by the sea called Prigradica . Here we are in an apartment overlooking the Adriatic sea and the mainland . Garry and sonia are in an apartment underneath . It's stinking hit sitting at 38 deg c . The boys went swimming off the rocks below the apartment this afternoon . Then tonight we had out first home cooked meal pasta and sauce abd headed to the port at 845 after the beautiful sunset for a swim . We ended up having Ice creams and then the local water polo match was in in the little Harbour . All ages played one after another . The local team is called the " tornado Prigradica - Blato . " Grahame had a beer and we had water watching the game .a great night but still very hot !
