6/7 drive from Lovran via. Karlobag and Korenica to plitvice lakes

Well we got up and had breakfast out on the porch overlooking the Adriatic at pansion stanger and the temperature was 34 deg c . We headed around the bay like a sideways u . We are heading towards Split along the coast road . Much like the coast road north of Wollongong however lots of rocks to see and a huge island to the right . The water Is a green blue clear colour . Just stunning . Aircon on in the car - it says 36 deg c at 12.10 pm and those storm clouds are hovering along the mountain ridge . By the way the afternoon storm at Lovran was thunder and passed over . Just very hot and sticky . Also they have cicadas here . I thought Australia only did .also the car in front of us stopped harsly . The mororbike went to take off and stalled abd he dropped it on the road . we stopped at a shop that sold drinks icecreams and coffees and the boys swam whilst I sat in the shade with dad and sonia eating magnum Icecreams ,all the time the cliffs over the mountains were black and thundering loudly beside us ! We stopped at the the town of katlobag and we had lunch at susanj restaurant pizzas lasagne calamari and salads . Then we drive up the mountains towards Korencia which is 80 kms away .as we got up tge mountain the scenery was green again with grass and trees . Amazing considering the rock islands in the sea and where we had lunch ! We continued to drive into the town of Korencia and we are staying at prica Milan a Zimmer for 2 nights . We are here to see the plitvice lakes .
