Dubrovnik 10/7/12 islands day cruise

So whilst our friends in sydney are freezing cold and maybe raining I'd just like to rub it in !!!! Sunshine 30 deg c today and we are doing a three island cruise and fish picnic. The boat left the old town on Dubrovnik at 1045 and headed to the Elaifite Islands. A wooden hulled old cutter boat took us to kolocep where we had a quick swim , then to Sipan where we looked at the local craft and enjoyed a seafood and chicken lunch , then onto the bigger island Lopoud where we stayed for over 3 hours . Dad Grahame and I found a bar on the beach outside a church and had a few drinks . Great thing those beer tabs ! The boys swam out the front in the swimming area and yes there was a bit of sand ! We bought the boys yesterday at Cavtat face masks , so they were scooting over the water chasing the fish -all afternoon ! I have been drinking Smirnoff and lemon and mohitos ! Dad and Grahame beer . We leave here at 5.30 and go back to the old town . Tomorrow we leave to go to Korcula an island nearby - we have to get a small car ferry We are there for 2 days ! The best part of the day was feeding the left over fish to the seagulls ! the captain held the fish head on his mouth and the seagulls took it - amazing !!!! We had a love day and met a family from England Manchester Kevin and Denise Morley and their lovely daughter . It was Kevin's birthday so we went back to the Irish pub in the old town and shared a birthday drink !!
